Since 1990, Cancer Council Victoria has supported more than 750,000 Victorians through our Cancer Information and Support Service. Our team of experienced cancer nurses and allied health professionals aim to ensure every person affected by cancer including family and friends receives the information and support needed to help them through each stage of the cancer journey.

Cancer Council Helpline 13 11 20
This is a confidential service where you can ask questions, talk about your concerns and needs with an experienced cancer nurse for the cost of a local call. Call 13 11 20 Monday-Friday 8.30am-6pm.
Multilingual Cancer Information Line: 13 11 20
This is a confidential service where you can speak to an experienced cancer nurse with the help of an interpreter for the cost of a local call. People who speak any language can use this service. It is available Monday-Friday 8.30am-6pm.
Cancer Connect
Talk to someone who has been through a similar cancer experience, and who understands what you're going through.
Cancer Connections
Connect with others affected by cancer any time via online discussion forums for groups including carers, patients, survivors and young adults as well as blogs and online expressive writing groups who can help you in your journey.
Free information & resources
We can send you free information about a specific cancer, treatments, side effects or living with cancer. Information is available in many languages.
